Overview:
For this do it better project, my group and I decide to recreate a catapult. My group consisted of Christian, Angus and I. We decided a catapult because last time we didn't have much time to make one that had all the catapult features. Our group started out with finding a detailed picture of a beam catapult. We wanted our project to be more medieval and have to cool catapult-like characteristics. We started with pieces of wood that were really hard to find. Then we began to construct the catapult using the picture we had found. Making a catapult is a very unique thing to do because at any given point you can change it up to do something totally different. Our groups main problem was finding the right pieces of wood for this project. I had a fantastic time with this project and being able to create such a successful catapult with this amazing group.
Reflection:
A project like this is the one i've been waiting for the whole year. Making a catapult had been a great experience and its also been very different from all the other projects. I'm very glad that I chose to my do it better project on something that we haven't had so much time on and now can make it so much better. Some of the peaks of this project were how well we worked around all of our difficulties. We again didn't have that much time and we were able to pull off a successful catapult. Most of the time we were all on task and were engaged in our work and other times we weren't. A couple pits were keep staying on task and not try to lose your concentration on someone else's project. We could of used our little time much more wisely I think and same with all the other projects we have done in the past. In the end, I loved making this project very much and it was a great one to end the school year with.
